Cast Iron Sliders

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • Open Range All-Purpose Rub, to taste

  • 8 slider buns

  • 1 cup pimento cheese spread

  • The Classic Pickles

Directions

    1. Divide the ground beef into 8 small portions and roll each portion into a ball. Season generously with Open Range All-Purpose Rub.

    1. Place a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat, or set it over low campfire heat. Let the skillet get hot before adding the beef.

    1. Place the beef balls in the hot cast iron skillet. Let them sear for a minute, then press each one down slightly with a spatula to form slider patties.

    1. Cook until the bottoms are browned and crispy, then flip and cook the other side until the sliders are cooked through.

    1. Butter the slider buns and toast them in the skillet until golden and slightly crisp.

    1. Spread pimento cheese on each toasted bun. Add a hot beef patty, Lock, Stock & Barrel “The Classic” Pickles, and your favorite sauce.
