Ingredients
-
1 box Old School Brand Cobbler Mix
-
1 jar Peachy Peach Halves (drained, reserve 2-3 Tbsp syrup)
-
1 Tbsp Texas Hill Country Peach Balsamic Vinegar
-
1 tsp Bourbon Barrel Vanilla Extract
-
½ tsp cinnamon
-
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
-
¼ cup brown sugar
-
Pinch of salt
-
1 cup milk
Directions
Prep the Peaches
Drain the jar of peach halves, reserving a few tablespoons of the syrup.
Slice the peach halves into thick wedges and place in a mixing bowl.
Add balsamic vinegar, vanilla extract, peach syrup, brown sugar, cinnamon, and pinch of salt
Gently toss to coat.
Let sit for 10 minutes to soak up the flavor.
Prepare the Cobbler Mix
In a separate bowl, mix milk and cobbler mix.
Assemble the Cobbler
Place butter in a 9” x 12” pan
Place pan in oven while preheating to 325°; remove when butter is melted, tilt to let butter cover bottom and sides
Pour the peach mixture into pan and top with the cobbler mix.
Drizzle melted butter evenly over top.
Bake
Bake for 35-45 minutes until top is golden and filling is bubbling.
**Brush 2 Tbsp over top of the cobbler during the last 3-5 minutes in the oven for a glossy, tangy finish!
